Lyndon B. Johnson
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district.
LBJ, Lyndon B. Johnson is one of the top high schools. It is located in Austin. Patrick Patterson is the Principal of the school. Jennifer Hranitzky is the assistant prinicpal of the school. It is located at Lyndon Baines Johnson High School, which has an additional neighborhood population of roughly 800 students, the academy offers an innovative and nationally recognized interdisciplinary curriculum that educates socially conscious leaders, problem solvers, and thinkers.
Their academic section they offer different types of courses. In that courses include fine arts, English language arts, mathematics, science, social studies. The smaller learning communities program is a national initiative dedicated to assisting public education systems of 1,000 students or more in breaking down their school systems into smaller communities. The purpose behind creating smaller communities is to foster an environment within the school structure that promotes student involvement, and a sense of belonging. The Liberal Arts and Science Academy of Austin is a four-year comprehensive, public, urban, college preparatory magnet high school of roughly 850 students with approximately 200 graduating seniors each year.
LBJ currently offers the courses like as digital graphics and animation, web mastering, video technology. As well as they offer the sports such as football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball, tennis, baseball. Their club facilities consist of car club, Asian culture, Afrocentric book club, cheerleading and astronomy.
The athletics programs include baseball, basketball, men's, basketball, women's, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, men's and women's, tennis, men's and women's, track, volleyball, wrestling. Lyndon B. Johnson is a dynamic school that promotes academic achievement, high expectations, respect, unity, and safety. Lyndon B. Johnsonstrives to develop specific goals and high academic standards, using communication and commitment within a shared learning environment.
The mission of Lyndon B. Johnson School is to offer an environment in which all students will acquire the necessary skills to become responsible thinkers who appreciate diversity and are productive citizens in their community.
