Incline
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district.
Incline High School is a public high school. It is located at Incline village, Nevada. Incline High School sophomore, Amie Serrano, has been selected to represent Incline High School at the Nevada Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership Seminar. The students are chosen based upon demonstrated leadership and potential for continued leadership growth. HOBY Leadership Seminars bring together a select group of high school sophomores with groups of distinguished leaders in business, government, education, and the professions to discuss present and future issues. The goal is to provide the youths with a stimulating forum for learning about critical issues while broadening their understanding of their leadership potential and quest for self development.
Incline High School trained and caring staff provides age-appropriate games, crafts, activities and field trips while encouraging the development of friendships with children from the whole community. The program activities vary by season and will include trips such as sledding, movies and bowling. The free concert will feature the concert band, jazz band, choir and orchestra.
The athletics programs include baseball, basketball, men's, basketball, women's, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, men's and women's, tennis, men's and women's, track, volleyball, wrestling. Incline High School is a dynamic school that promotes academic achievement, high expectations, respect, unity, and safety. Incline High School strives to develop specific goals and high academic standards, using communication and commitment within a shared learning environment.
The mission of Incline High School is to offer an environment in which all students will acquire the necessary skills to become responsible thinkers who appreciate diversity and are productive citizens in their community.
