Einstein
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district. Einstein is a top high school situated in the United States. Albert Einstein High School is a four-year high school located at Newport Mill Road, near Kensington in unincorporated Montgomery County, Maryland. The principal is Mr. James Fernandez. It is a school within MCPS, the Montgomery County Public Schools system. The school mascot is Titans and school colors are Red, Black, Blue and White. Einstein is home to three Academies. These are three courses of study which students can select as a part of the Down county Consortium. Academies include International Baccalaureate Program, Academy of Finance, Visual and Performing Arts; Einstein also hosts the MCPS Visual Arts Center. In sports, the school offers baseball, basketball, cheerleading, cross country, field hockey, football, golf, indoor track, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling. At Einstein High School, their mission is to promote educational growth through a rigorous curriculum along with the acquisition of technical skills and knowledge that will provide a basis for lifelong learning and will create a bridge between education and career.
