Edmond Memorial is a top high school situated in the United States. Edmond Memorial High School is located in Edmond, Oklahoma. The mascot of EMHS is the bulldog. They are currently constructing a freshman academy, renovating the library and inputting a wrestling locker room. The original name of the school was Edmond High School, because it was the single high school in town. Edmond Memorial High School is known for its athletic and academic excellence with many state and national championships, and with an average grade point of 3.39 on a 4.0 scale. The largest graduation class of EMHS was in 1988 with 825 students. Edmond Memorial High School strives to be the most outstanding high school in the Edmond School District, rivaling Edmond Santa Fe and Edmond North, both of which were added to the district in 1994. At Edmond Memorial, their mission is to promote educational growth through a rigorous curriculum along with the acquisition of technical skills and knowledge that will provide a basis for lifelong learning and will create a bridge between education and career.
