Dickerson
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district.
Charles O. Dickerson High School is a public high school in Trumansburg, New York. It is part of the Trumansburg Central School District, and has an enrollment of approximately 485 students. Paula Hurley is the current principal of the school.
The Trumansburg Athletic Department is implementing a new policy, effective immediately that requires all middle school and elementary aged students be accompanied by a parent or guardian to all home athletic High School contests. Students arriving at these events without a proper chaperone will not be permitted into the contest. Their winter sports include Basketball Girls JV and Var, Basketball Boys Mod, Volleyball Mod etc.
