Shoemaker

Shoemaker High School is located in central Texas. Shoemaker High School is part of the Killeen Independent School District. Fort Hood, the largest military installation in the world, provides the major economic base for the community. The school district has a student population of over 36,000 students which includes students from the Killeen, Fort Hood, Harker Heights, and Nolanville communities. There are 30 elementary schools, 12 middle schools, 4 high schools and 5 special campuses.
The athletics programs include baseball, basketball, men's, basketball, women's, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, men's and women's, tennis, men's and women's, track, volleyball, wrestling. Shoemaker High School is a dynamic school that promotes academic achievement, high expectations, respect, unity, and safety. Shoemaker High Schoolstrives to develop specific goals and high academic standards, using communication and commitment within a shared learning environment.
The mission of Shoemaker High School is to offer an environment in which all students will acquire the necessary skills to become responsible thinkers who appreciate diversity and are productive citizens in their community. Shoemaker High School educates a diverse population by motivating and empowering them to be continual learners and successful, productive citizens.
