Blue Valley Northwest

BVNW, Blue Valley Northwest High School is a top high school situated in the United States. Blue Valley Northwest High School is located at 13260 Switzer, Overland Park. Blue Valley Northwest High School is one of four currently operated high schools in the Blue Valley School District, in Johnson County, Kansas. The school is located in Overland Park. Dr. Amy is the principal. The mascot of the school is Huskies. The school colors are purple, black and white. Adjacent from the school's campus is the Blue Valley District Activity Center, which consists of a football field, a soccer field, a softball field, and a baseball field.
Around the state of Kansas, BVNW was known as the ATM-school when the school opened in 1993 because an ATM, Automated Teller Machine was placed in BVNW's lobby as part of a business class project. It was removed the year after, due to the negative attention it received from the community and supposedly being used in funding drug deals. The school's yearbook is called Horizon, the school broadcast news program is called Husky Headlines, and the school's literary magazine is called the Muse. The Horizon and Husky Headlines have been nominated for several Pacemaker awards. The school newspaper is called The Express which is a member of the High School National Ad Network. They focus on training students for particular careers and then placing them in successful careers after graduation. They have a devoted team of staff and instructors ready and willing to help you from enrollment to 10 to 12 grades.
