The current principal of Reseda High is Alfredo Tarin. The mascot of Reseda High is the Regent, a lion welding a crown and a scepter. The school currently is home to the Reseda High School Science Magnet HS and the Reseda Police Academy Magnet HS, in addition to Reseda High.
Reseda High School has several notable programs. Among them are an active humanities academy, multilingual teacher’s academy, academic decathlon program, Navy Jr. ROTC, urban studies program, science bowl, excellent AP, Advance Placement calculus courses, and the largest yearly high school science fair in the San Fernando Valley. Reseda High School celebrated its 50th anniversary graduation with one of the highest valedictorian and honors rates in school history. They focus on training students for particular careers and then placing them in successful careers after graduation. They have a devoted team of staff and instructors ready and willing to help you from enrollment to 10 to 12 grades.
