Bullard

Bullard High School is located at North Palm, Fresno, California. Tim Belcher is Principal. Bullard High School, founded in 1955, is a comprehensive high school serving 2600 students in grades nine through twelve. It is one of eight comprehensive high schools located in Fresno Unified School District, Californias fourth largest school district. Bullard is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The school is located in northwest Fresno, a city with an approximate population of 600,000. Fresno City College, California State University, Fresno, Fresno Pacific University, and University of California, Merced are located nearby.
School success is supported by such innovative offerings as the humanities program, east lab, link crew, and a peer tutoring program, center for research and development, and access to course offerings at Fresno City College and California State University, Fresno. They offer a comprehensive division I interscholastic athletics program with 22 different varsity-level sports, and listed over 75 extracurricular student clubs in 2005.
Ethnic composition is 54 percent White, 27 percent Hispanic, 10 percent African American, 6 percent Asian and 3 percent other. Approximately 3 percent of the students have been identified as English Language Learners. Their faculties are 105 certified teachers, 4 administrators, 6 counselors and 7 support staff. Bullard High School provides a safe environment and strives to maintain a clean campus for learning.
