Kent

Kent is a city located in King County, Washington. King County is located in the U.S. state of Washington. As of 2005, the population was 84,560. Kent has the third largest industrial area in the United States. Kent is the second largest city in south King County and the ninth largest in the state of Washington. The total area of the city was 73.2 square kilometers and its population density was 1,095.4 per square kilometers.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 73.2 square kilometers. In the city the population is spread out with 27.7 percent under the age of 18, 10.3 percent from 18 to 24, 35.0 percent from 25 to 44, 19.6 percent from 45 to 64, and 7.3 percent who are 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there are 98.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 96.2 males.
Kent experiences a boom with day tourists, owing to the clear air, town character with rich culture, high quality of life and conspicuously original history. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people also combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in United States.
