Oil City
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Oil City is located at the convergence of the Allegheny River and Oil Creek. Oil City is a municipality in Venango County, Pennsylvania which was, for many years, a center of the petroleum industry. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 12.3 square kilometers. In the city the population was spread out with 25.8 percent under the age of 18, 7.9 percent from 18 to 24, 27.2 percent from 25 to 44, 21.6 percent from 45 to 64, and 17.5 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 38 years. For every 100 females there were 90.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.8 males.
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Oil City is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
