Newport Beach
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia.
Newport Beach, incorporated in 1906, is a municipality in Orange County, California. In 2000, the population of the city was 70,032 and an area of 103.2 square kilometers. The city is home to several well known communities and recent annexations including Balboa Island, Corona del Mar, San Joaquin Hills and Newport Coast.
In the city the population was spread out with 15.7 percent under the age of 18, 6.5 percent from 18 to 24, 33.0 percent from 25 to 44, 27.2 percent from 45 to 64, and 17.6 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 42 years. For every 100 females there were 97.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.6 males.
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Newport Beach is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
