The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Christiansburg is a town in Montgomery County, Virginia, United States. The population was 16,947 inhabitants at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Montgomery County. Christiansburg, Blacksburg and Radford are the three principal cities of the Blacksburg-Christiansburg Radford Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses thoses cities and all of Montgomery County for statistical purposes. Christiansburg is located at the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 36.1 square kilometers. In the town the population was spread out with 23.8 percent under the age of 18, 8.0 percent from 18 to 24, 33.3 percent from 25 to 44, 22.8 percent from 45 to 64, and 12.1 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 92.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.0 males. Christiansburg is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in United States worth paying a visit while touring the country.
