Bucyrus

Bucyrus is a city in Adams County, North Dakota in the United States. The population was 2600 inhabitants at the 2000 census. Bucyrus was founded in 1908. Adams County is a county located in the U.S. state of North Dakota. Its name is in honor of the sixth President of the United States, John Quincy Adams. Its county seat is Hettinger. North Dakota is a Midwestern state in the United States. It is the northernmost of the Great Plains states and is the northern half of The Dakotas.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.9 square kilometers. In the city the population was spread out with 3.8 percent under the age of 18, 15.4 percent from 18 to 24, 19.2 percent from 25 to 44, 46.2 percent from 45 to 64, and 15.4 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 116.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 108.3 males.
Bucyrus experiences a boom with day tourists, owing to the clear air, town character with rich culture, high quality of life and conspicuously original history. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people also combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in United States.
