It is included in the Victoria, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area. Its county seat is Victoria. It is a part of the Victoria, Texas, metropolitan statistical area.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 6.9 square kilometers, all land. In the CDP the population was spread out with 37.1 percent under the age of 18, 10.5 percent from 18 to 24, 27.2 percent from 25 to 44, 16.4 percent from 45 to 64, and 8.9 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 27 years. For every 100 females there were 96.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.4 males.
