The RE/MAX Northern Illinois region was founded in 1977. It was one of the first regions in the RE/MAX organization and it’s owned by Roaring Fork Capital Partners of Denver, Colorado. It encompasses a region approximately the northern one-third of the state of Illinois and is one of the largest and most successful RE/MAX regions in the system. It’s the longstanding market leader since 1989 in Chicagoland area of northern Illinois, with 23.8 percent market share and closing more than 17.46 billion dollars in sales in 2005.
