The current enrollment is 1106 students in grades 9th to 12th. The school colors are gold and blue and the athletic teams are known as the Zephyrs. The current principal is John Deir.
Their activities are successful and varied. Their academies sections include the course such as art, business, technology education, music, mathematics. Their other activities include interact club, interact club developing leadership skills and personal integrity, demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others and advancing international understanding and goodwill. The Mahtomedi Zephyr M Club will foster the interest and advancement of High School supported activities through community involvement and endowed support.
The athletics programs include baseball, basketball, men's, basketball, women's, cheerleading, cross country, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, men's and women's, tennis, men's and women's, track, volleyball, wrestling. Mahtomedi School is a dynamic school that promotes academic achievement, high expectations, respect, unity, and safety. Mahtomedi Schoolstrives to develop specific goals and high academic standards, using communication and commitment within a shared learning environment.
The mission of Mahtomedi School is to offer an environment in which all students will acquire the necessary skills to become responsible thinkers who appreciate diversity and are productive citizens in their community.
