Lower Moreland

Lower Moreland Township School is a top high school situated in the United States. The Lower Moreland Township School District is located twenty miles northeast of Philadelphia in Montgomery County. Mr. Greg Doviak is the High School Principal. The school district is dedicated to excellence in education with an emphasis on individual needs. As the formal philosophy states Lower Moreland Township School District recognizes that each pupil is an individual and should be allowed to develop as such.
Lower Moreland, guidance begins at the elementary level and continues throughout high school. High school students may use terminals to access a computerized card catalogue to find resource materials. A health room is located in each school with the services of a full time nurse. A doctor and dentist are available for consultation and examinations Lower Moreland School District owes much of its success to interested parents.
The social studies curriculum encompasses the study of history, geography, and other cultures. There is also a well developed outreach program teaching social responsibility. Volunteers help as classroom, clerical and cafeteria aides. The senior citizens participate in special programs for intergenerational understanding and may attend most school functions at no cost. The community members act as resource people sharing their careers or avocations and serving on curriculum and related committees.
