Tenafly

Tenafly High School is a four-year comprehensive public high school serving students in grades nine through twelve from Tenafly, New Jersey, United States, as part of the Tenafly Public Schools. The students from the neighboring community of Alpine attend the school as part of a sending relationship with the Alpine Public School. During the 2004 - 2005 school year, Tenafly High School had about 966 students.
Tenafly is noted for its competitive debate team which has been awarded many awards over the years. Tenafly High School is one of ten schools participating in the Bergen County Scholastic League American Division. The school nickname is the Tigers and its school colors are black and orange. Other sports in Tenafly that have winning traditions that include soccer, softball, track, and volleyball.
Tenafly is noted for its tennis team which boasts the New Jersey State Doubles Champions, identical twins Alex and Ben Lee. Tenafly High School was awarded the prominent Blue Ribbon School Award, awarded by the United States Department of Education. Tenafly was the only high school in New Jersey and one of 38 public high schools in the U.S. to receive the 2005 Blue Ribbon School Award.
