Seneca Valley
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district. Sehome High School, the home of the Mariners, is a public school and a part of the Bellingham School District in Washington, United States. Sehome High serves students mainly from the southern end of the city of Bellingham. The school opens on September 1966 with only Junior, Sophomore, and Freshmen classes. The first ever Sehome graduates left Sehome on September 1968. On September 1972 Sehome switches for semester to trimester based scheduling. On September 1985 Groundwork laid for Sehome computer network and received technology grant and bond and created computer writing lab with 250 computers.
