Blacksburg

Blacksburg High School is a top high school situated in the United States. Blacksburg High School is located at 201 W. Ramseur Drive. Jim Touchberry is the principal and Craig Bramlett is the assistant principal. Blacksburg High School has a long, award winning tradition of excellence in the fine arts. Their Wildcat Marching Band is currently the South Carolina Upper State and State Champions in Class 1A. Mrs. Lynn Sisk directs a varied fine arts program at Blacksburg High School. In addition to their usual courses, Mrs. Sisk is also teaching drama this year. The Teacher Cadet class at BHS gives seniors an opportunity to investigate the teaching profession as a potential career choice. Participation in Teacher Cadets offers students the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop valuable skills. They also investigate child development, the history of teaching and critical issues facing schools in the 21st century.
The mission of Blacksburg High School, in partnership with the parents and community, is to ensure each student educational opportunities for a successful future by providing a quality educational program. They focus on training students for particular careers and then placing them in successful careers after graduation. They have a devoted team of staff and instructors ready and willing to help you from enrollment to 10 to 12 grades.
