Bethpage
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district. Bethpage High School is a top high school situated in the United States. Bethpage High School is the only high school in the town of Bethpage, New York, located in Nassau County on Long Island. It is located on the corners of Stewart Avenue and Cherry Avenue, across from the Bethpage Community Park. The school is a public one with blue and gold colors. The mascot is golden eagle. On average, each class size is between 25 and 30 students. Bethpage boasts a state-of-the-art program. Almost every classroom in the school is equipped with an overhanging projector attached to the classroom computer. There are several computer labs within the building with internet access. Its principal is the John DeTommaso and Michael Spence and Kevin Healy are assisting to him. The school is well known for the Bethpage High School Masquer's Guild directed by Mr. William Kroupa Jr. and is considered the best on Long Island. The mission of Bethpage High School is to provide their students with opportunities to obtain the skills needed to become productive, responsible citizens, capable of making positive contributions to a changing society.
