Norwell
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district.

Norwell High School offers academic honors diploma, core diploma, block four scheduling and work ethic certificate program. Norwell High School is structured for the purpose of educating young people for a ful?lling and productive life. As students respond to the educational experience provided for them, it is the expectation that they will recognize that school is a challenge, a privilege, a responsibility, a right, and an opportunity.
Norwell Curriculum includes AP, Advanced Placement courses in English, mathematics, science, and world languages, school-to-work, grades 9th to 12th, area 18 vocational education, twenty-two programs at eight high schools, access to fort wayne career center, internships, job shadowing, dual enrollment at local colleges and universities, remediation classes, extensive offerings in the areas of agriculture, art, language arts, family and consumer science, world languages, technology, mathematics, music, physical education, science and social studies.
Norwell High School is an integral part of the community which it serves. The community’s future is its youth. The mission of Norwell High School, in partnership with the community, is to assist these young people in developing the skills, attitudes, self-disciplines and values necessary to become life-long learners and productive individuals.
The mission of Norwell High School is to offer an environment in which all students will acquire the necessary skills to become responsible thinkers who appreciate diversity and are productive citizens in their community.
