Ridgefield High School
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district.
RHS, Ridgefield High School is a top high school situated in the United States. Jeffrey Jaslow is the principal of the school. They offer their academics through the department such as Social Studies, Paraprofessional, Counselor and World Language. There are approximately 1800 students in grades nine through twelve select from myriad course offerings in core subjects and elective areas in constructing their academic program.
Ridgefield High School offers various facilities state of the art science labs, computer labs, and library media center, and a spacious Student Center where students dine and get to unwind in the midst of the academic day. There are numerous co and extra curricular opportunities, including dramatic and musical productions, art expositions, academic competitions and an expansive athletics program that help round out the high school experience for their students.
The Health Education Programs at Ridgefield High School are skill-based programs designed to develop the self-esteem, resiliency, decision-making abilities, communication, and self-management skills that are necessary for a healthful and rewarding life.
