High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district.

Norcross High School is a school in Norcross, Georgia. It is part of the Gwinnett County Public School System. The current Norcross High School occupies a 440,000 square foot facility at 5300 Spalding Drive, Norcross, Georgia that opened in August 2001. The current principal is Jonathan Patterson, began his job at Norcross High School during the 2006-2007 school year. The school colors are blue and white. Norcross is the only high school in the Gwinnett County School System to have the IB, International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

Norcross High was located at Beaver Ruin Road in 1957, closer to downtown Norcross. At that time the school was to combine both the Norcross and Duluth districts and be collectively called West Gwinnett High School. However, both districts fought for separate high schools and in 1962, the school name was changed back to Norcross High School.

The school's mascot is the Blue Devil. Norcross' athletic teams play in Region 7-AAAAA with other Gwinnett and Forsyth county high school teams. Norcross won the Class AAAAA boy's basketball state championship during the 2005-2006 school years, under the leadership of Coach Eddie Martin. The boy's basketball team's has had press coverage in USA Today, which ranked the Blue Devils as the number 2 high school basketball program in the nation in a preseason poll. The Varsity Football team went undefeated in the 2006-2007 seasons until they lost in the third round of the state 5A playoffs to Warner Robins.

The mission of Norcross High School is to provide their students with opportunities to obtain the skills needed to become productive, responsible citizens, capable of making positive contributions to a changing society.
