John W. North High School is a top high school situated in the United States. Dale Kinnear is the principal of this school. John W. North High School is an International Baccalaureate high school in Riverside, California, part of the Riverside Unified School District. John Wesley North High School was established in 1965 and named after the founder of Riverside, John W. North.
John W. North High School is home to many clubs and activities. This includes the Advancement via Individual Determination program which is designed to help motivate financially disadvantaged kids into college. North is particularly proud of its academics the education and human services academy, the law and protective services academy, and the global business information and technology academy.
John W. North High School is dedicated to reaching out to students needs and encouraging them to try new things. Many of the clubs are organized by students themselves as they motivate peers to get involved in certain outreach programs. In an attempt to help students make new friends and get involved in activities both inside and outside of school, John W. North High Schools clubs also provide good surroundings and opportunities. North's award-winning yearbook, the Aurora, prides itself on winning the National Yearbook Pacemaker Award, the highest honor a high school yearbook can receive.
The mission of John W. North High School is to challenge students to maximize their potential as learners, achievers, and productive world citizens.
