Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet
High school is a name used in some parts of the world, and particularly in North America, to describe the last segment of compulsory secondary education. It is preceded by primary education. High school is also the name used to describe the institution in which the final stage of compulsory education takes place. In the United States, high schools generally consist of grades 9, 10, 11, and 12, although the inclusion of grade 9 varies by school district. Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School is a senior high school in the Los Angeles Unified School District with a focus on serving students who plan to major in the healthcare field. Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School Principal is Mrs. Maria Torres-Flores. Originally a magnet center established at nearby Lincoln High School before moving to Wilson High School from 1985 until 1989, groundbreaking started in 1987 and construction was completed in 1990. Students are accepted into the AP, advanced placement program and individual advanced placement classes based on faculty and counselor recommendations. A student may be admitted into a class by request or if the AP instructor has approved the request. These are the current AP courses offered by Bravo AP biology, AP calculus AB, AP calculus BC, AP chemistry, AP English language.
Francisco Bravo Medical Magnet High School has successfully included a diverse range of facilities for their candidates in various fields. The Academy's key mission is to teach students serve efficiently future betterment.
