Bentonville
Bentonville is a top high school situated in the United States. According to the History of Arkansas in 1889, the first public school in Bentonville was constructed in 1872. In 1910 the school district acquired the old Ouachita Academy building and changed it to Bentonville High School and housed grades 9-12. In the fall of 2006 Bentonville High School became a 9 to 12 campus with approximately 2946 students. Steve Jacoby is the Principal and Kathy Murry is Associate Principal of the school.
Nineteen advanced placement programs offered such as biology, calculus AB, chemistry, computer science a, english language, english literature, environmental science, European history, French language, U.S. government and politics, human geography, music theory, physics, psychology, Spanish language, statistics, studio art, U.S. history, and world history. There are a lot of departments with their faculty members. Their course academics include marketing and general cooperative education, medical professions education, agriculture science and technology etc.
The Class of 2006 was awarded a total of 2,797,325 dollars in scholarships from colleges, community members, and the military and other awards. Bentonville High School offers 17 different athletic programs for boys and girls. Lauren West is Athletics Director of the school member. As well as there are available club information Guide for different sections of club. Like as art club, computer club, chess club, guitar club etc.
16, 2003, this included mills to build a football stadium, multi-purpose facility, baseball, softball and soccer fields and a track. In addition, the band, cheer and dance teams will also have access to the facility. Hight-Jackson and Associates was charged with designing the plans for the new facilities, and Crossland Construction was awarded the bid to build the Tiger Athletic Complex. The tigers had 13 winning seasons at Tiger Stadium.
The mission of Bentonville High School is to provide their students with opportunities to obtain the skills needed to become productive, responsible citizens, capable of making positive contributions to a changing society.
