Radford University is located here. The Radford Arsenal is also located near the city of Radford. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 26 square kilometers. Attractions in the city Radford are explore the rich heritage of Radford and the New River Valley in this 19th-century Victorian building situated on the banks of the New River. Radford Heritage Days festival will highlight Radford's rich history at three sites along the New River: Ingles Farm, Arnheim, and Glencoe Museum.
