Yuba City
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Yuba City is a city in California and the county seat of Sutter County, California, United States. It is the principal city of the Yuba City Metropolitan Statistical Area which encompasses all of Sutter County and Yuba County. In 2006, the population of the city was 60,507 and an area of 24.4 square kilometers. It is the 21st largest metropolitan area in California ranked behind Redding and Chico. The Yuba City area was not significantly influenced by early Spanish and Mexican activity. In the city the population is spread out with 29.0 percent under the age of 18, 10.7 percent from 18 to 24, 29.4 percent from 25 to 44, 18.7 percent from 45 to 64, and 12.2 percent who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 32 years. For every 100 females there are 95.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 91.7 males. United States is a popular travel destination for visitors and globe trotters from all over the world who appreciate its beautiful landscapes, rich culture, various local cuisine, hospitality and safety.
