Springdale
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia.
Springdale is a city in Washington and Benton counties in Arkansas. According to 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 60,096 inhabitants, making it the fourth most populous city in the state. The special census' results mean that Springdale is now Arkansas' fourth largest city, behind Little Rock, Fort Smith, and Fayetteville. Springdale is the location of the headquarters of Tyson Foods Inc, the largest meat producing company in the world. Springdale has been dubbed the Chicken Capital of the World by several publications.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 81.1 square kilometers. In the city the population was spread out with 29.0 percent under the age of 18, 10.7 percent from 18 to 24, 31.4 percent from 25 to 44, 18.7 percent from 45 to 64, and 10.2 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 98.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 96.4 males.
Springdale experiences a boom with day tourists, owing to the clear air, town character with rich culture, high quality of life and conspicuously original history. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people also combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in United States.
