Sheboygan

Sheboygan is a city in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 50,792 inhabitants at the 2000 census. It is the principal city of and is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area and is the county seat of Sheboygan County. The city is located on Lake Michigan at the mouth of the Sheboygan River, about 81 kilometers north of Milwaukee and 103 kilometers south of Green Bay.
Sheboygan is a city located in to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 36.4 square kilometers. The 36.0 square kilometers of it is land and 0.4 square kilometers of it 1.07 percent is water. In the city the population was spread out with 25.6 percent under the age of 18, 9.2 percent from 18 to 24, 30.0 percent from 25 to 44, 19.4 percent from 45 to 64, and 15.8 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 96.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.7 males.
