Omaha
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Omaha is the biggest city in the U.S. state of Nebraska. It is the county seat of Douglas County. In 2005, the population of the city was 414,521 and an area of 307.9 square kilometers. Located on the eastern edge of Nebraska, it is on the Missouri River, about 30 km north of the mouth of the Platte River. Omaha is the anchor of the Omaha-Council Bluffs metropolitan area. In the city the average age of the population is diverse with 25.6 percent under the age of 18, 11.0 percent from 18 to 24, 30.8 percent from 25 to 44, 20.7 percent from 45 to 64, and 11.8 percent who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 34 years. For every 100 females there are 95.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 92.2 males. Omaha is definitely one of the popular tourist attractions in United States worth paying a visit while touring the country.
