Oklahoma City
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Oklahoma City is the capital and the most populous city of the State of Oklahoma. It is also the county seat of Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. In 2005, the population of the city was 541,500 and an area of 1,608.8 square kilometers. One of the more famous landmarks downtown is the Crystal Bridge at the Myriad Botanical Gardens, a large downtown urban park. The park has several amphitheaters home to live theater performances and concerts in the summer. There is also a lake in the middle of the park inhabited by large Japanese Koi replete with waterfalls and fountains. The average household size was 2.41 and the average family size was 3.04. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females there were 95.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.7 males. United States is a popular travel destination for visitors and globe trotters from all over the world who appreciate its beautiful landscapes, rich culture, various local cuisine, hospitality and safety.
