Ogden
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia.
Ogden is a city located in Utah, United States and the county seat of Weber County. In 2005, the population of the city was 78,309 and an area of 69.0 square kilometers. Ogden-Hinckley Airport, Utah's busiest municipal airport is located just to the southwest of the city. Ogden is home to the minor league Ogden Raptors of the Pioneer League.
Originally named Fort Buenaventura, the city of Ogden was the first permanent settlement by people of European descent in the region that is now Utah. Ogden's summers are hot and dry, winters bring snow. In the city the population was spread out with 28.8 percent under the age of 18, 14.6 percent from 18 to 24, 29.0 percent from 25 to 44, 16.3 percent from 45 to 64, and 11.3 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 29 years. For every 100 females there were 102.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 100.5 males.
