Santa Rosa

Santa Rosa is a city located in California, United States and is the county seat of Sonoma County, California. In 2005, the population of the city was 156,200 and an area of 104.6 square kilometers. Santa Rosa is the biggest city in California's Wine Country and fifth largest city in the San Francisco Bay Area, after San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland, and Fremont. In the city, the population is spread out with 24.3 percent under the age of 18, 9.5 percent from 18 to 24, 30.0 percent from 25 to 44, 22.3 percent from 45 to 64, and 13.9 percent who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 95.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 91.8 males.
