The population was 420 at the 2000 census. Caldwell County is a county located in the U.S. state of Kentucky. It was formed in 1809. As of 2000, the population is 13,060. Its county seat is Princeton, Kentucky. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.7 square kilometers, all land. In the city the population was spread out with 21.4 percent under the age of 18, 6.4 percent from 18 to 24, 31.2 percent from 25 to 44, 24.3 percent from 45 to 64, and 16.7 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 39 years. For every 100 females there were 94.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 90.8 males.
It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
