Nogales
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Nogales is a municipality on the northern border of the Mexican State of Sonora. It covers an area of 1,675 square kilometers and borders to the north the city of Nogales, Arizona, United States. In 2000, the population of the city was 159,103 people. Nogales is served by Nogales International Airport. Nogales officially became a municipality on July 11, 1884. Nogales is known for its recent vast population growth which covers the hills along the central narrow valley that extends from South to North. Recently, the southern half of the city has experienced a modern urbanization development which includes shopping malls, wide avenues and modern house conglomerates.
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Nogales is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
