Ferry Pass
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Ferry Pass is a census-designated place, CDP in Escambia County, Florida, United States. The population was 27,176 at the 2000 census. Escambia County is a county located in the U.S. state of Florida. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 36.5 square kilometers. In the CDP the population was spread out with 18.3 percent under the age of 18, 13.9 percent from 18 to 24, 28.7 percent from 25 to 44, 21.5 percent from 45 to 64, and 17.6 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 86.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.3 males.
Like some of its sister municipalities and towns, Ferry Pass is blessed with beautiful surroundings and a unique natural setting. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people all combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in United States.
