Lewisburg

Lewisburg is a municipality in Marshall County, Tennessee, United States. In 2000, the population of the city was 10,413 and an area of 30.3 square kilometers. It is the county seat of Marshall County. Lewisburg is located in central Tennessee, south of Nashville. In the city the population was spread out with 24.2 percent under the age of 18, 10.2 percent from 18 to 24, 27.3 percent from 25 to 44, 22.1 percent from 45 to 64, and 16.3 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 37 years. For every 100 females there were 90.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.4 males.
A city known for its historic myths and traditions, scenic beauty, cooperative people and luxurious hotels and cottages, Lewisburg is one of the favorite holiday destinations for most of the vacation lovers.
