Eagan
The United States of America is a country in North America that extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean and shares land borders with Canada and Mexico. The United States is a federal constitutional republic, with its capital in Washington, D.C., District of Columbia. Eagan is a city in Dakota County, Minnesota, and is a thriving suburb of the twin cities metropolitan area located approximately 15 miles southeast of downtown Minneapolis. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 63,557 inhabitants, and is the eighth most populous city in Minnesota. Eagan is home to the Northwest Airlines headquarters as well as Thomson legal and regulatory, legal information and publishing giant. An interesting fact about Eagan is that it's one of the very few twin cities suburbs without an established car dealership business. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 86.6 square kilometers. In the city the population was spread out with 30.0 percent under the age of 18, 7.4 percent from 18 to 24, 38.2 percent from 25 to 44, 20.2 percent from 45 to 64, and 4.2 percent who were 65 years of age or older. For every 100 females there were 96.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 93.7 males.
Eagan experiences a boom with day tourists, owing to the clear air, town character with rich culture, high quality of life and conspicuously original history. The picturesque scenery, the majesty of nature, the slow pace of life, and the welcoming nature of its people also combine to make this region one of the most important tourist attractions in United States.
