Davenport is a city in Lincoln County, Washington, United States. The population was 1,730 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Lincoln County. Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Washington. It is named after Abraham Lincoln. The county seat is at Davenport, which is also the county's largest city.
Davenport was officially incorporated on June 9, 1890. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.9 square kilometers, all land. In the city the population was spread out with 25.7 percent under the age of 18, 5.8 percent from 18 to 24, 24.7 percent from 25 to 44, 21.7 percent from 45 to 64, and 22.0 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 85.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 79.7 males.
