Crescent City

Crescent is a City in Putnam County, Florida, United States. In 2005, the population of the city was 1,817 and an area of 5.5 square kilometers. Putnam County is a county located in the state of Florida. Its county seat is Palatka, Florida. The county is centrally located between Jacksonville, Gainesville, St. Augustine and Daytona Beach.
In the city the population was spread out with 27.4 percent under the age of 18, 7.4 percent from 18 to 24, 21.6 percent from 25 to 44, 20.9 percent from 45 to 64, and 22.7percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 40 years. For every 100 females there were 86.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 81.8 males.
