Boise City is a city in Cimarron County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 1,483 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Cimarron CountyGR6. Boise, in the city name, is pronounced to rhyme with voice. Cimarron County is a county located in the U.S. state of Oklahoma. The 2000 census shows it has the least population of any county in Oklahoma. Boise City is the only city in the United States to be bombed during World War II.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.3 square kilometers and rest is all land. In the city the population was spread out with 26.2 percent under the age of 18, 6.6 percent from 18 to 24, 21.7 percent from 25 to 44, 24.3 percent from 45 to 64, and 21.2 percent who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 41 years. For every 100 females there were 90.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 87.5 males. It can also be considered as the preeminent, historical and potential tourism destination that enjoys a very positive reputation with worldwide travelers to become one of the most visited places.
